Train tickets paid, but no PNR number

Hello everyone!

Yesterday we booked several train tickets through IRCTC. We can find our last booking under the 'last transaction detail' section, however it says "not booked" and the box for the PNR number is empty. Wil the tickets be confirmed any time soon? Is this the normal procedure?

Doesn't look like it is booked. Not the normal procedure.

No, that's not..........if it was in waiting the section doesn't show "Not Booked". Can you send me the screenshot in personal message? I can surely help you with that.

Hi Laetitia,

It seems your ticket is not booked. Check under "My Transaction" tab, third number tab "Failed Transaction History." If your ticket is not booked and you do not have a PNR and if money is deducted, it should show under "Failed Transaction History."

Please book your ticket again. Make sure you are not booking 7th ticket. Only 6 ticket are allowed per month via personal IRCTC ID.

If the ticket is booked, it should show under "Booked Ticket History"

No train had been booked if you not get the PNR. Please cross check with my transaction options.

Thank you very much everyone! All my transactions are indeed under the "failed transaction" tab. Maybe I used the wrong payment method? There are so many payment options, which one do you suggest to use when booking from Europe?
