Traveling to Thailand when pregnant

Hi I am 10 weeks pregnant and planning on visiting Koh Samui in August time nothing’s booked yet .

Is there vaccinations you should have when going Thailand ?

And if so will I be able to have them ?

If there is no reason why you can’t holiday in Thailand when pregnant is there a certain time period in your pregnancy when you can travel for example between 20-30 weeks ?

Hope somebody can help as I really want to book but really unsure .

Thanks in advance

I suggest you make a appoint with your GP or a travel clinic.

Some people travel and never have injections, some people have some injections, for me the same as living in Australia. (so nothing extra) Some people will load up on everyone that is on offer.

Ask your doctor, not ‘amateurs’ on a travel forum, please.

Too many people advise seeing doctors for every little thing here, no wonder there's so much strain on health services and waiting times are so long. Internet is a perfectly reasonable place to ask for general advice on travelling when pregnant, it's not a niche condition that nobody except medical professionals has any knowledge of.

Though it should be noted that most TA posters are not that smart, so maybe try some other forum with a higher proportion of people with an IQ above 50, or a more specific pregnancy-related forum. Mumsnet? Thaivisa.com has a poster called sheila, she's very active on the medical forum there and seems very knowledgeable.

To the OP..I agree your body and baby.No one here know your medical history or risks to you.

Perhaps just do a search for Dr Google
