I went to the Amphawa foating market(weekend fr-so) and the trainmarket in Amphawa Maeklong.1H30 min by taxi from Bangkok or take Van at Victorymonument in Bangkok.

Stayed 2 days overthere .Loved it. Go also to Amphawa walkingstreet along the river in the evening(streetfood etc..)A-fl market is a food and souvenirs market with massage and karaoke entertainment along the canal while the trainmarket is a local foodmarket.I went under the "TENTKAMP" and all kind off food is present (fish, krab, gamba ,fruit, vegetable etc...)not seen any Falang there , everbody is waiting on the road for the train ,they take pictures and up they go,next destination(they been there). On a weekday you can visite also

Damnoen Saduak from there its not so far away.We had a lovely weekend .

Thank you. Is Coke Pier in the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market? The review is not so good for Coke Pier. Is it necessary to take the ferry in the floating market so that we can see more things? Is there any floating market near to Sathorn?

In that case, I would recommend Bang Nam Phueng, Sunday morning. It's closest and one of the nicer markets.

A taxi would be your best bet.

Asking drive times, in Bangkok, is kinda like asking how long is a piece of string.

But, if you go early morning, say around 8am, it should take about half hour.
