the best modern hotel with a large outdoor pool?

It might be easier to look at big hotel chains in general with a big price tag.

However, if you could lower your ego, you could be easy to fall in love with First Hotel in Saigon has a bigger pool than what Pullman can offer with restaurants surroundings. The more you dig in the more you would find surprises there with a reasonable price. One side of the hotel compound has been renovated during my stayed but should be completed by now.

Sofitel Saigon Plaza.. great pool, best location & breakfast second to none

For something different Beautiful Saigon Boutique has a ground level pool and is right in the centre of D1. Cost ? around $35

We have stayed at both the Pullman and the Sofitel really like them both but the Sofitel is in the better location. Possibly my favourite place with a pool is Hotel des Arts Saigon McGallery another Accor property. Not sure about rates for any of these but as Sam sure you know if you going the Accor loyalty programme and book direct you get a genuine 10% member discount.

Good question GG. I do not know and none of my HCMC are in Country at this time. I certainly hope they are still going as I think they do a great job.

Just tried a couple of dummy bookings on various websites and all I get is sold out... and that is through to end of September. It wouldn't surprise me if it had closed. Walking around D1 it was noticeable how many hotels, travel agents, shops had closed or were still closed.
