hotel - Rosaleen/Moonlight/Orchid?

Any feedback on above hotels please? Looking for 2 nights, arriving 7.47pm train from Phong Nha/Dong Hoi. Will need something to eat either by train station or at or near hotel that first evening.

We are 2 friends travelling therefore need twin beds and want a balcony with some view. All 3 have this. And all around the same price. We only have 1 full day in Hue so we are hoping to do a "Stop and Go" day tour of Hue then the next day use them again to get to Hoi An and visit places on the way.

We won't be spending a lot of time in the hotel so things like comfortable beds, quiet rooms, cleanliness and space, restaurant onsite would be a bonus but not a requirement, maybe pool if warm (will be early January) and decent breakfast.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello

I will recommend you to look and compare the reviews for this 3 hotel, or when you arrive in Hué just go check them before choosing one. These 3 hotels belongs to the same categories so it's hard to make a difference between any of them

Just note that january is in the rainy season so the pool may not be needed.

Have a good trip.

We stayed in two twin rooms at the Moonlight about four weeks ago and found it to be very good, clean rooms and good breakfast included.

The location was excellent and walking distance to many of the attractions.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was the pool, under cover and quite small on the 6th floor, but we still managed to cool off in the heat.

The street outside the hotel has many bars and restaurants so not a problem to wander out for a feed and drink right on the doorstep so to speak.

Thank you everyone, we have booked at The Moonlight, it seems worth paying a little more than the other two hotels, particularly for a river view room. We are really looking forward to seeing Hue and the surrounding area.
