My family and I are traveling to Vanuatu in December for a week. 2 kids 6 and 8. Would you recommend Cocomo or Erakor?
We stayed at Cocomo with our 5 year old son last July. It was perfect for him & us! They are well geared up with a kids playground, trampoline, a pool & games such as fuzbol & table tennis undercover. There are also kids activities on offer. The staff are wonderful & because some of them stay next to the resort, our son was able to play with their kids which was really cool! The location is perfect on the lagoon ... just take reef shoes for wading or swimming in the lagoon as there's loads of beautiful starfish.
Erakor is also owned by the same people, so you actually get free entry to the island if you want to spend the day there. We did & would recommend it with kids too ... they also have a playground but we just felt self contained & well catered for at Cocomo. (Buses stop right outside to go anywhere whereas Erakor you need to hail the ferry)
We're planning our next trip in June/July next year & will definitely stay at Cocomo again. Hope this helps?
