So its $50 US dollars so about £26 for the visa and do we need a photo? Yes Mombasa beach hotel is where we are staying...

As far as I'm aware you can pay for a visa at the airport around £25 - $50 no photo needed.

I stand to be corrected.

We will be out there this Saturday!

You can pay in dollars, euros or pounds but not Kenya shillings. You need to have the right money available - and you dont need a photo. In Nairobi just before Xmas we found the queue to get visas was much shorter than the other immigration queue for those with visas and we did not have to move over and join the other one afterwards - visa and immigation were done together.
