Hi i'm looking to fly from Singapore to Shanghai and am struggling to find affordable airlines. Are there any budget airways opporating between the two cities?

Thank you

Sorry, no. The cheapest way to fly (trust me, we've investigated this many times) would be: Singapore -- Guangzhou on Tiger Airways (http://www.tigerairways.com.sg) and then Guangzhou -- Shanghai on Spring Airlines (http://www.china-sss.com). Barring any special deals on China Eastern or Singapore Airlines which might bring the cost of a simple round-trip to around 400-500 SGD, that is. Both Tiger Airways and Spring Airlines are budget airlines. The latter is great, unfortunately the website is Chinese-only and you need a Chinese bank card with e-banking enabled to pay.

Thank you! You're right on the spring air - can't see a word in English. Thanks for the tip.

Yup, that's why I've been helping my own friends to buy tickets for Spring Airlines left, right and centre.
