Transtar Travel Coach Service

Hi all,

we are planning to book our bus trip with Transtar Travel bus services from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur in August. I was wondering if someone can share their recent experience traveling with Transtar Travel (Solitaire) bus, its looks really nice on website with all those facilities on-board and comfy seats.

We are traveling with our 20 months old daughter, and I have emailed the company couple of times regarding seating but haven't got any response back yet.

I have few questions if someone can please answer them.

Is this(Transtar Travel) reputable company?

Does the bus makes any stops during the journey?

where does it drop off in KL?

thank you

Transtar is a little different from the rest of the Bus Co.

The arrival terminal at KL is PasarRakyat which is only 1km south of Ritz and Bintang. Please take a cab if arriving at night. ;)

Transtar and Aeroline are rivals at the top, can't say who's better. Comparing their best seats, Aeroline has buses that are double-deck. Seats on the upper-deck and a lounge on the lower-deck. Lots of space to walk around within the bus. As for Transtar, IMO, scores with wider seats, comfort and "in-flight" entertainments all comparable to some airlines' First Class...

PS: 1st class is worth every penny for your long journey, you won't get to do this very often ;)

Thank you Schonefeld for your advise, and time much appreciate it. I did look up all those links you sent, but unable to see any bus videos or pics for aero line buses. I think i will agree with you about Transtar solitaire buses seats they do seems like first class cabin on any aircraft.

I guess I will go head and book solitaire bus for our trip. I just hope that bus itself, staff and other passengers are child friendly because we are traveling with our 20 months daughter, and five long hour bus journey after 8 hrs flight be bit too much for her and might make her cranky:)

Thank you

If you making this journey straight after arriving in Singapore, you may want to look into taking a flight to KL instead. The much shorter seat time is a bonus especially with you are traveling with a child of that age.

Totally i agree with Mankster, fligt to KL direct without landing in SIN is the best option for you.

Oh, this plan sounds better, indeed we though you intend to go straight to the bus after landing in SIN...

Sabrina R, you are most welcome... and travel safely!
