Hello, if someone guide me nice hotel attached to shopping mall or within the shopping mall, cost around US$100/ night
Only S$ accepted in Singapore. There are no hotels in malls for S$100.
Start from around $250, Swissotel Marchant.
Nice hotel is more than USD$100. Do up your budget.
Singapore is small and compact city with perfectly working public transport and affordable taxi. Staying in the mall or going to the mall - if you need to go, if course - is of no difference. Just choose a hotel that suits your budget, that's all. You can familiarize yourself with singapore hotel prices if you put your travel dates into any aggregator, say Expedia or asiarooms etc.
Tai Hoe Hotel is a small budget hotel across the street from City Square Shopping Mall. That Mall is attached to Farrer Park MRT underground train station. 5 minutes walk away is Mustafa Department Store which sells everything and is open 24 hours a day.
There are malls almost everywhere in Singapore. You don't need a hotel attached to a mall.
Pls indicate your budget in the local currency of the destination. If you post in the HK forum, use HKD and so forth. USD may be preferred in India but don't automatically assume this is the case in the country you are travelling to.
"Nice" means different things to different people. I'm not sure what you expect but space is a premium in land-scarce Singapore. You are not going to get the same standard of the hotel and room size for the same amount of money that you do back in India.
As a guide,
2-stars are around S$70-120 (very small room 10-14 sqm and small bathroom, toilet and shower not separate so bathroom floor gets wet after shower. Usually no windows)
3-stars $120-180 (Small room 12-19sq m and small bathroom unless they are older properties or located in less popular areas. Toilet and shower may not be separate. May or may not have swimming pool. May or may not have windows.)
4-stars start from $180.
5-stars start from low S$200s (Limited selection. Most are closer to S$300 or more).
If you travel during peak periods (local school holidays, eve of public holidays, F1 etc) then expect to pay more.Edited: 13 November 2017, 10:01
Singapore has more than enough malls and hotels so anywhere should be fine!
Thanks everyone, Swissotel could be best option, thanks
