Family Trip To Singapore

Hi Friends,

We are planning a family trip to singapore for 07 persons. Family includes 03 male & 04 females, 02 about 14yrs, 02 about 40 yrs, 02 about 54 yrs & 01 65 yrs. We intend to stay for 07 days in singapore. I have no clue as to how we should start and plan the trip. Budget is also a big question. Can you friends plan a day wise itinerary for me. We have not yet selected the place of stay. so it would be nice if you could recommend the most perfect area in singapore for our stay. We are not into alcohol/parties/shoppings/eatings at big restaurants. We are only going there to see the country and major beautiful tourists attractions the country has to offer. We plan to use metros/buses to go around. I would be happy if you could also give me an idea about the total budget for entry fees to these attractions and where can I book the tickets. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello Daniel,

1/ first of all: we are a travel forum and not a travel service. We do not create intineraries for members, nor do any planning for them.

You can browse through the topics, read what people usually do and how they plan their vacation. But planning itself is your homework. Start from

Yoursingapore.com

2/ if you need a precise hotel recommendations please specify your budget per room per night in SGD?

6. Re: Family Trip To Singapore

My suggestions:

1. Main attractions in Sentosa: USS, SEA Aquarium, Adventure Cove, Trick Eye Museum, Mdm Tussaud etc

2. Wildlife Parks: Bird Park, Zoo, River Safari, River Safari

3. Gardens by the Bay, MBS, Helix Bridge, Merlion Park

4. Chinatown, Little India, Kampung Glam, Arab Street

5. Botanic Gardens, Orchid Gardens

Take your pick from the above. These will fill up more than 7 days already.

Daniel,

First, you need to look at other threads on this forum, as many people pretty much ask the same question. Those that responded to your question think you are lazy because you have made no effort to even read omega123's response that covers almost everything you need to know.

For a party of 7, I would recommend a serviced apartment that gives you more space (balcony, kitchen, and living room........something you will not get in a hotel). Before you ask, "so what are service apartments", just run a search for those 2 words on this forum and you will have your answer
