Eid ul Adha 2018 Date?

Hey guys,

Just want to know what day or days is it most likely or possible for Eid ul Adha to fall?

I will be there during the time and I want to ensure I don't have certain things booked on the day.

Also any specific activities recommended for Eid only?

Ramadan is expected to end at sunset on Thursday (14th) evening so Friday, 15th would be the first day. However, this depends upon the sighting of the new moon on Thursday evening.

Aug 20-21 would be about when next Eid holidays may commence, hopefully a decent break for expat residents in private sector. We have zero holiday for this Eid, as it clashes with Fri-Sat. It is unfathomable why Government and Private always get this differential treatment when it comes to public holidays.
