Entertainer is always worth it IMO if one puts effort into researching it thoroughly, and if the offers are something one would use of course. Given the cost can be recouped almost instantly, it can be made to be 'worth it'.

Here's an article you may have missed about how to use Entertainer for Hotels >>> https:/…92546815

if you're going for six nights, look into the Summer promotion as you can get 3 free nights - if you pay at Best Available Rate. Follow the tips in that article about how to haggle/pitch with a better chance of success. Alternatively, 'hop' over 3 bookings so that you get 3 free nights perhaps in different hotels?

Back to value - if you're drinkers, look to get the Cheers app too as it can save oodles on drinks. Also keep an eye on the offers, as when brunch season starts up again in September there will be lots of venues adding temporary offers on lunches, brunches and buffet/dinners.

Yes the Entertainer is worth it provided you use it especially if you are staying for 6 days. The desert safari alone almost recovers the cost. Add restaurants, bars and other attractions and savings will add up. I always find something nearby as the deals are not confined to certain areas only.

I agree, a safari excursion and few nice meals will definitely exceed the cost of the Entertainer app. So, yes, you could save some money even if you are a party of two.

I'd download the app and check out the participating outlets, you could then do the math and make a decision whether it's worth it for you.

Another tip for the Entertainer, is that you can search by area, venue (e.g. hotel) or even type of offer these days.

Just make sure you scroll down into all their 'new content' as quite often they bundle things together which makes discovery easier. For example, for Iftars they tend to write an article listing particular ones and link it as content (rather than a long-winded search through the app)

Ratkarth - you don't need to bargain, but you can get better leverage if you do. Like any promotional or incentvised offer, 'your mileage may vary' but the time one puts into it on research and shopping around usually reaps dividends.

Your original question was if it was worth it, not one of ease or convenience. I'd say getting hotels through the Entertainer app at pro rata rates lower than one could avail of anywhere (eg JW Marriott Marquis for 335 all-in) else answers your question positively.

It can pay for itself in one meal if you choose the right venue.
