Caesars or Ballys

I can get a comped room for Caesars or Ballys, both premium rooms.

I have stayed in the premium rooms at Caesars, and loved it. Can anyone tell me if they prefer one or the other?

Also, I have a host (according to a letter they sent) but have never used one. If I call the host and let her know of my travel plans, would they upgrade me to a suite (if avaiable) or anything? What kind of perks do you get having a host?

Caesars, hands down. As for you getting a suite, it all depends on your level of play, the amount of players in for the night. Also, from what I understand all suite requests must go before the suite committee unless it's during an off time when the casino is slow and you can be upgraded at check-in.

Having a host helps if you are looking for something special, such as tickets to a show which you did not get an invite, etc. Keep in mind though that having host does not necessarily guarantee anything.

One important difference is that Ballys has 2 spas; the one in the Claridge has a indool pool and steam/sauna in the locker rooms and is free. The Spa at Ballys has a large indoor pool with several hot tubs, and cost $10; if you want to use the gym and separate sex steam & Sauna, add another $10 (non hotel guest pay $30 for all facilities)

The Qua Spa @ Caesars is new and much nicer, but also costs ALOT more to use($60 for a day pass, free with a treatment/massage)and has no indoor pool.

If you do decide on Ballys, make sure you request the Garden Tower; they are the renovated rooms most like Caesars Centurion Tower rooms - modern decor, flat panel TV's, nice bathroom with a TV in the mirror, large walkin stall shower.

Ballys Tower rooms are large, but not renovated and showing alot of wear & tear, and do not have HD Flat panel TVs.
