Mussorie Travel plan

Hi

We have 4 days to plan in April. We are thinking of going to Mussorie. How is the location in terms of scenic beauty. How many days will it take to cover it. Which other nearby locations can we cover.

Mussoorie is beautiful but many people only enjoy the scenery on the way up in the car. The few dedicated viewing areas are often overcrowded, so I recommend choosing restaurants and a hotel with views so you will have time to enjoy it.

There are plenty of hotel options, but some restaurants that I recommend for views are Little Llama (upper floor outside, only 4 people), Bellamount (outdoor for 2, larger groups can enjoy views from inside), and Cafe Landour (groups up to 8 can find seating outside with great views).

As for the larger plan, you can really see mall road in one day, then add a morning in Landour to enjoy the sunrise at Lal Tibba and stroll the area around Sisters Bazaar with a Ruskin Bond book in hand. Other areas of interest that can be paired with Mussoorie are Dhanaulti, Kempty Falls, Rishikesh, and Nainital.
