Normally will close only on first day of raya (or maybe will open later in the afternoon). On second day of raya onwards, the place opens as usual.

Thank you Sconefeld, originally plan to visit Bandung again just after Hari Raya due to having longer holidays plus there will have new service from Firefly direct flight from JB to Bandung,

Here the Hari Raya Celebration the most is around 1~2 days before Raya and 4days after Raya, most people balik Kampong and KL is clear and no traffic.

KL traffic might be the same as in Jakarta during Raya, but not Bandung. Bandung is a favourite weekend gateway for Jakartans and people living in nearby area. Throw in visitors from regional destinations and you can imagine how many people will be in Bandung during those holidays. Every year is the same: Bandung is always packed during holidays and even more packed during religious holidays such as Raya. You still can visit Bandung, but in arranging your itinerary, you need to provide more spare time (don't rush everything in one day)

Thank you circue for additional explanation. I think that may be Genting Highland (KL) is like Bandung (Jakarta) but one for shopping and relax the other one is "Casino"!!

Last trip already been to Tangkuban Perahu and Ciater, if we go to Bandung again mainly wife shopping trip.

In terms of how packed the place on any given holidays; you can assume that way. Even getting around in the city from one shopping place to another might need extra efforts as Bandung streets are full of traffic jams everywhere...

Usually factory outlet such as Rumah Mode open on 2nd day raya Idul Fitri, some of factory outlet even open after Ied pray around 1pm. But it's better to visit Bandung 1 week after raya because traffic jam at tourism area on raya Idul Fitri time and some of restaurant is closed for a week.
