Black Mountain Waterpark Hua Hin

If anyone has more details please post.

Have heard about this but not been.

I am sure it will be very popular with visitors.

Soft opening at the moment as apparently not fully complete,

B 500 adults, B 250 children

The wave pool from the brochure looks like fun :)

Hi Monica. Unfortunately a lot of these activities, places to go etc are hardly ever advertised in English around town so even a lot of us expats don't even know whats happening much of the time so unless these places advertise and or promote via the hotels many tourists will never ever find out about them.

As for Black Mountain Water Park its hardly on the normal tourist trail unless your a golfer so lets hope it does get promoted in the hotels and restaurants around town but at least we can make visitors aware through this forum.

I had a drive past it a couple of weeks back and saw the prices as 750 baht per adult, I guess this will be the full price once the park is fully opened, but I think its a little expensive to visit especially to go there as a family.

Seen a glossy printed brochure, says B 500 for Soft Opening

However ...... compared to B 1,500 for the one in Phuket it would be a lot cheaper ( and the one in Phuket used to be even a lot more expensive than that )

At least Hua Hin has one now :)

So good luck and I hope it gets promoted so people can enjoy.

Hua Hin continues to get more and more attractions, I agree with Cli, needs to be more promotion of all these places.

I only knew because someone in the office had picked that up from some place in Cha Am when they were down earlier this month and bought it in to show everyone.

Wow thanks Monica, they have done so much work since we drove past in January. Love it, i am going to have to try out the slides.

Also on the way to the Water Park there is this beautiful white and gold archway there were roads being constructed around this archway.

Do you know what they are going to build across the road from the Water Park as they had men and tractors grading the area ? CJ

I went to Black Mountain waterpark in Hua hin on 18th Feb this year. I had only been in the park five minutes when I decided to have a go on the blue slide, within minutes of entering the slide it tipped me out of the rubber ring I was sitting in and threw me into the side of the slide breaking my collar bone. Although I didn't realise what I had done at the time, only that I was in a lot of pain. The young men who ran the park were very good in looking after me, but told me this particular slide had only been open three days and had only been tested three times and each time they had rectifies dangers on the slide. So any one going on this particular slide make sure more saftey measures have been put in place. As you don't want to end up like me,
