Probably a whole lot safer than most beach resort/areas in the world.

When are you going to Krabi ao nang beach... if you are travelling between 7 to 10 aug we can meet and look see look see around together.. that will be safer...

I was in Aonang over Songkran in April for about 5 days and felt perfectly safe. The hotel I stayed at was about a 5 minute walk to the beach and I made this walk at all times of the evening.

BTW, single, female traveler :-)
