Just wondering in case we fancy an evening wander outside of the hotel. Thanks.
Not that many bars out side of hotels there are a few, mostly small shopping malls and some other shops.
Just returned. Bars we found were mega expensive! Stay all inclusive. We went for a walk stopped of in a bar 3 of us had 3 drinks each in day time n Bill was over €50!
Yes went to Antalya old town. Was about £20 each way in cab n not many alcohol bars there that we found. We thought the same and wanted to wander out. Tbh don't botherEdited: 14 June 2018, 04:27
Thank you for the reply. We certainly not are you looking to ‘party’ in the sense, as we have a young family (been there done that!) but we would like to.venture into Antalya one evening and have a drink. It’s just a case of which part of the city we venture to. If anyone can name some venues in the city, that would be helpful. The impression I am getting from some is that it isn’t worth it?Edited: 14 June 2018, 14:29
Depends what you want. There are bars in Kaleici over looking the harbour. But they're not aimed solely at entertaining tourists!
I'd suggest maybe going into Antalya late afternoon. Have a stroll around the old town and then grab something to eat, a couple of drinks then slowly head back to the hotel.
There is a lift that takes you down to the harbour which we found. We had a drink in a restaurant there. We didn't have time to walk around but there may be more restaurants there. The children would enjoy walking around as this is where all the pirate ships are moored. We went in the evening and it was very quiet down there
