phan thiet airport

have been told that there is no airport in Phan Thiet but when i look on the net they tell me that there is a new airport there, is this true? we want to get from Hoi Ann to Phan Thiet and would rather not have a 12 hour train ride.

No, just take a good day bus so as you can do sightseeing en route, it's nice over there.

There is no airport in Phan Thiet, ...and no train station in Hoian.

Phan Thiet ( Mui Ne ) is only 04 - hour drive from Saigon. So i think you should change your itinerary like : Flight from Danang to Saigon, tours in Saigon, then drive from Saigon to Phan Thiet - Mui Ne.

HI Veejay,

Can you tell me how long is the train ride from HCMC to Mui Ne / Phan Thiet? How much does it cost? What is the name of the train and can you book a private berth on the train? Sorry for so many questions.
