Serviced Apartment in Tokyo for 1 week stay

Hi, I am planning a trip to Tokyo in Oct 2013 for a group size of 5, and hoping to book a serviced apartment (preferably 2-bedrooms) for a period of 7 nights. Looking for any suggestions/recommendations, thanks!

Japanese people including me can not imagine what a serviced apartment is. simply because we don't call it so.

If you mean "a furnished, short-term apartment", please google "weekly apartment tokyo".

I think the OP is referring to a short-term furnished apartment rental with services such as daily cleaning, etc.

You will stay just for one week!

Some of the local service apartments have the availability of one month minimum. Itd/273 Duplex and tid/357 Apa may accept shorter than one month with regards to the Japanese page: You will need to ask one week availability. BTW: However, the house keeping service is mostly once a week in service apartments.

I am sorry for my forward going.

With all the hassles of trying to get a serviced apartment (1-month minimum, deposit, paperwork, etc), you are better to find a decent business hotel that can you can have 2 separate rooms (one for 3 people and the other for 2).

Check out Olympic Inn Azabu (near Azabujuban station) and Olympic Inn Kanda (near Kanda station). Both have triple bed rooms.

Also check our hotels with connecting rooms - a door inside of the room that allows you to open to enter the next room. Ask for a rollaway bed for one of the rooms so that 3 could stay.

Citadines near Shinjuku is probably as close as you will get. Most of the real serviced apartments only rent minimum 1 month. VRBO and the like is under developed in Tokyo and not much good availability.

I was going to suggest Citadines as well. It's more spacious than most with the convenience of a kitchenette.

Just curious, can someone explain to me about "Citadines"?

Is this a specific location? Or a generic term like "serviced apartments"?

This is the first time I've heard the word.
