Can skytrex and skycab be covered on the same day?
Yes, very easily
not only the both you mentioned but Oriental Village by now has a lot of activities to do. You can easily spend a day here.
Thanks! We had lovely weather and ended up spending a lot of time on the sky bridge and in the oriental village. So, we would go back for Skytrex tomorrow 😊
Hi We will travelling to Langkawi and Penang in July, we were interested in both Skytrex and Escape (in Penang), they seem to be similar except Escape has the additional water park which we are also interested in. We are travelling as a family- two children 18 and 16. Is it worth visiting both or keeping only to Escape?
Hi thank you for you quick response, Umgawa looks good, can you do this activity at the same time as visiting the waterfall nearby or is this to be organised by a tour/separate visit. Looks cooler up there... what would be appropriate clothing?
Yes you can visit Seven Wells Waterfall at the same time. However, it will certainly not be cooler up there! You will need "sporty type" clothes and proper shoes or trainers and be prepared to get very sweaty.....!
thanks Steady. Will add sport clothes to the packing.
Can you share some knowledge on kayaking through the mangroves... do we need to be in a tour group, If not do we get a taxi there, then organise tour when we arrive??
From what I have seen you kayak through the water within the Geo forest, am I correct in saying that?
If you look at Umgawa's website and at the photographs there, you will see the type of clothing worn by others doing this activity. You do not specifically need sports clothes, just joggers or shorts and t-shirts.
If you wish to kayak through the mangroves then really you need to book with a good tour group such as Dev's Adventures or Junglewalla, who know the mangroves, the area and probably more importantly, the tides. I doubt that anyone will let you paddle of on your own in their precious kayaks, which for Malaysians, cost a good deal of money!! With a fully licensed and knowledgeable guide you will learn such a lot about this fascinating area of the island and see quite a lot of the flora and fauna there.Edited: 17 June 2018, 18:02
Yes I have already noted Dev's and Junglewalla as good tour options, just asking the question if any other way. Thank you Steady
