Can anyone suggest a swimming pool to use , our hotel doesn’t have one.We are staying within the medina
Ask your hotel to recommend a local hotel's pool you can use, Many do but they will charge a daily fee.
When I am in Agadir I use all the facilities at Hotel Oasis and Hotel Tildi in the daytime. I stay at another hotel. My face is well known and Omah the waiter is my ' mate'- we have good banter. No one has ever questioned me over 10 year period and I explicitly state I am not a guest at the hotel. Am I in breach of the rules?Edited: 08 June 2018, 23:42
I can do the same at hotels in places. But I do this because I know the staff or owners and have the invite.
I would never assume to just go to a hitels pool because none stop me.
It is trespassing and a nice sit at the pool can get ugly with demands to pay or being asked to leave.
I am welcomed and treated well by hotel staff and I think they welcome me as an external customer - I buy beers and lunches in return for the ambience and useage of facilities. I reiterate I am overt vis a vis my status. I mix with hotel residents and Moroccans popping in for a daytime drink. I think my custom is welcomed and I am not deemed a trespasser or a transgressor of hotel rules.Edited: 09 June 2018, 01:50
Then you have found your oasis for the noon day heat. :)
I was more speaking of just walking into any ones pool, not the one you are welcomed to.
The Hotel Des Isles has a great outdoor pool and is next to the Medina , Im sure they will let you use it for a small fee
I think you’re misinterpreting my question!
I have no intention of trespassing
Thank you for your sensible response 😀 I’ll look it up
I apologise for going off course.
You only have to ask at reception about pool useage as a non residentEdited: 10 June 2018, 01:03
