Holiday inn shifu metro station

Hi,

Would like to visit the following attractions in Guangzhou: Shamian island and Yuexiu Park, is the hotel located near metro line 1 or line 2?

Any hotel recommendations around $150.00 Canadian near these attractions.

Thank you in advance.

Next to front door of Holiday inn shifu is a street that sells fish, pets, bonsai things, walk along the street and thurn left at the first corner then after few minutes ,turn right, at the end of this street, you will see the Qingping Qing Ping Herbal Medicine Market 清平药材市场 and walking on the pedestrian bridge, You will see the Shamian Island.

Holiday inn shifu hotel is close to the Changshou Lu metro station ,Line 1, it is about 10 minutes walking from hotel .

Holiday inn shifu hotel would be a good choice for you Holiday Inn Shifu is in the middle of the busy Shanxiajiu pedestrian shopping street, excellent int'l class service and quality room, deluxe room is very big. Big quality breakfast buffet. 1,000 shops and restaurants at front door .

Maybe you may interested in the Victory Hotel at Shamian Island. West Wing of guangdong victory hotel actually is quite nice and some of the rooms are even with big balcony .Lots of USA ,UK ,Australian .etc. guests prefer to stay in this hotel as it is clean ,safe and the staff are friendly as well .U will see lots of european couples with chinese orphans and chinese bride and bridegroom taking photos on shamian island . Subway just beside the hotel lobby while starbucks are just two minutes walk time from the hotel .Highly recommended !

Holiday Inn Shifu is strongly recommended, about $100 for cheapest room, $125 for large deluxe room. Book on holidayinn website. We have stayed there before and going back in Oct.

Victory is 10 minutes walk away on the island, also nice, but harder to get taxi. Must get West wing Executive room, and ask for big balcony, only few rooms have it, below your budget. East wing is old room, not as nice. This hotel can be as cheap as $60 a night.

Don't know about subway, taxis are too cheap, I don't waste time on GZ subways.

No, West wing executive room is for Victory Hotel on Shamian island, which is only 10 minutes walk from Holiday Inn Shifu. For holiday inn, my only suggestion is deluxe room, much bigger than lowest priced room. Street side room can see the shopping street below and the crowd, but that is not important, just mildly more interesting.

Occasionally it has US$125 package with breakfast and wifi, good deal because that is a big first class buffet and hotel charges for wifi.
