Ko Phi Phi Nightlife

My friend and I are heading over to Phi Phi island at the end of March, just wanted to know which area is best to stay on the island. We're not only after great nightlife but a relaxing stay with great options for tours/scenery. Suggestions for nights out would be much appreciated too!

The best area for you to stay would be in the main village, Ton Sai. And, for nightlife, there are a number of bars on/close to the beach at Lo Dalam Bay. If you wish to see some nice scenery do some hiking on the island. Don't forget to walk up to the Viewpoint where you can watch the sunset. And, once there you'll be able to book some boat trips around the island.

I agree with AjarnAndy. However the beach parties don't really kick off until about midnight, so go to DoJo's bar first as that's where most people start off for pre drinks. Then just follow the crowd. We stayed at Phi Phi Villa Resort which is about a 10 minute walk from the thick of town, which suited us. As long as you don't stay on long beach or anywhere else that requires long boat rides to get to and from especially after dark, you will be fine. We all love Phi Phi!

Agree with the above, stay in Tonsai so you can party during the night and during the day grab a long tail to head to more remote and quiet beaches - the beach in Tonsai while nice scenery is rather crowded - do escape it and see other parts of this amazing Island.
