Payless rental cars in Costa Rica

We are travelling to Costa Rica at the end of April and have reserved a Suzuki Jimmy for the 14 days we are there. Does anyone have any current experience with this company? After reading posts in 2009, I wondered if they cleaned up there act, or should they still be avoided? We were as diligent as we could be about asking all the questions about "hidden" charges. Their quote was very good, much better than anyone elses, which in of itself makes me suspicious. Are their cars in good condition, are they very high in mileage, are they clean and do they service you in a professional manner if you have any problems? Thanks for any help available.

Its good to read everithing before you make a desición, In Costa Rica insurance are not the same than in USA, sometimes acording to the protection that you choose is the deposit, most of the estimates in website DO NOT INCLUDED INSURANCE and you have to have it.

As the other person says as well is a lot of options close by that you can walk a way.

Good luck for next time.

OK, the question is not "do you have hidden charges" it is exactly "does your quote include the basic insurance like most of the other companies". If yes then you have a good deal. If no then you do not,

Dave, what "same thing" happened to you? You have signed an agreement and there are all costs already stated. Only thing that could be charged on top is the damage to your car. But you have surely inspected the vehicle and have marked all dents and scratches on your agreement form, didn't you?!
