Anyone have any experiences at Dentavac in CR?

I have heard many good things about Dentavac but many of the comments are quite old (about 2011 or so). Anyone have any experiences about it?

Thanks

DentaVac is a godsend! They offer a complete list of dental services at extremely affordable prices compared to anything in the USA. The offices are spotless and safe. Everyone speaks English so it was easy to converse with them. They are a very professional, on time, caring dental office. This was my second trip to complete implant procedures that I started in August. Staying up the street at Out of Bounds hotel it was an easy 1 block walk to the office. My appointment was on time and my work was done by as many as 6 specialists and hygienists. As procedures were being done, everything was being checked continually. The time frames they gave were accurate. The work was efficient and although it did take some time, I am very pleased with the work and can't remember having such beautiful teeth. The people that work there go out of their way to be helpful. They still provide airport transportation if you inquire.

PS Notice how WHITE and Big my teeth are...

Never used them but have heard nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews. Thinking about trying them soon, I will give a report when I do.

As far as Dentavac in San Jose, Costa Rica goes, to say the least; I can highly recommend their dental service. This place is unmatched in every aspect, and I am not just making a comparison to Dental clinics in Costa Rica, but in the USA as well. I have never been better served on my dental work, anywhere!

The staff is highly qualified and diverse in their specialties. The intense interest in every step of my procedure included not only examined by one dentist, but sometimes three or four. The communication between the doctors and through me was something that I had never experienced before. The care, diligence and drive to get it right were unusual in comparison to my past dentistry. Usually, one profession sees me, treats me and sends me on my way. At Dentavac usually two doctors or professionals were working on me and continually assessing their work by communicating between each other.

The office was the most modern and comfortable medical facility that I have ever been in, including vaulted ceilings, leather upholstery and a friendly greeting staff that spoke English and Spanish fluently.

The work on my mouth included the following:

Full lower restoration with seven implants and three bridges

The upper included two root canals and four crowns central to my mouth, and one cantilever bridge in the back, which included two crowns.

Importantly enough, many like myself cannot afford extensive dental work in the USA, so it comes as a blessing to have a dental clinic like Dentavac.

I have been told for 3 years that I needed major surgery on my upper jaw. A sinus lift to add bone so I can have implants. I was at DentaVac 2 weeks ago and had it done. I could not have picked a better place to have this traumatic surgery. I was greeted at the airport by Adrian, DentaVacs manager. The surgeon who did the procedure was absolutely amazing. All the doctors and the nurses are so professional, personable and fun. Amazing place. It is spotless and all state of the art machines. They made me feel very comfortable and that is hard for me when having my mouth worked on. I stayed at Out of Bounds just a block away and that was also an awesome experience. I go back in December for my implants and back next June for my new teeth. Cannot wait. I am on medicare so none of this would have been covered. You won't find better prices for first class service anywhere.

Hi John, I just returned from Costa Rica last week after 9 days there. I had extensive work done to the teeth on my right side. 2 root canals 3 crowns and a bridge. I can only say wonderful things about my experience. The clinic has state of the art equipment, the staff is extremely experienced, friendly, and speak excellent english so they can communicate very well. They brought in specialists to perform certain procedures. One dentist only does root canals. He was efficient, quick and did an excellent job. (we all hate root canals and the sooner they are over the better). The clinic has their own dental lab in the same building and they made me a beautiful bridge in just a few days. I highly recommend the clinic. After my bad experience here in Florida with a diffident clinic I am very glad I made the trip to Costa Rica. I received better care there than I could ever here.

My wife and I have lived fulltime in Costa Rica for 11 years. During this time, we have used 5 different dentists. The last five years we have used Dental Vac for crowns, fillings and a root canal. Dental Vac also performs more advanced dental procedures, including implants and complete restorations. Dental Vac operates out of a clean, modern and well equipped facility located on the main road between Santa Ana and Escazu.

DentalVac has crowned four of my teeth and performed one root canal. The crowns were made by Dra. Gabriela Sibaja D.D.S.. Gabriela speaks fluent English and does excellent work. When my wife and I lived in the United States, we had excellent dental insurance and our choice of dentists. Gabriela’s skills are comparable to our dentists in the USA. She has been our primary dentist for five years, and has never disappointed us. Gabriela is friendly, highly skilled and a good communicator.

Dental Vac has modern equipment and utilizes the latest technology. All of the dentists, dental assistants and office staff are conscientious and service oriented. Dental Vac dentists often inspect and discuss each others work. I appreciate their team approach.

I highly recommend Dental Vac to English speakers who are planning to have dental work performed in Costa Rica. Dental Vac’s prices are reasonable and you will not be disappointed in the quality of their work.

Went there in Jan 2015 and had some work done. There is a great staff and they will hand you over to a team that speaks English and the dentist I had was American.

I would recommend.

Good morning~ Yes, I've had extensive dental surgery (6 titanium implants, interim bridgework and 6 months later, posts and 17 crowns. Dr. Acosta and Nico did beautiful work and I highly recommend them. I spent a total of 4 weeks in Escazu having work done. The estimated cost for the same dental work here in Albany NY would have been $45,000. I saved 80% by going to Dr. Acosta.
