Hotels with pools and playgrounds to use for admission fee

Hello, we are visiting Raro in mid of August and will have 2 years boy with us. Just wondering if there are hotels which allow non-residents or non-guests to use a swimming pool or playgrounds for an admission fee? Which hotels have playgrounds please? We are staying in a house at Aroa beach which is close to the Rarotongan. Thank you

The Islander allows non-guests to use their pool, when they are having a meal. Check with their staff beforehand.

The Rarotongan charges a day-use fee normally. They introduced this cost as a way to reduce casual use of their equipment and to make it fairer to house-guests. You would need to ask the Rarotongan Resort if you can access their children's play area within their kids club.

The Nautilus charges $10.00 per person, provided they have spent $25.00 at the restaurant, excluding drinks. Ask them if children are acceptable.

There is a public playground in town, next to the Punanga Nui market. There is also a playground in Vaimaanaga located at the YWAM church which they allow the public to use.

A plastic bucket and spade should keep your toddler amused when you are on Aroa beach.

Hi

I agree with Frangipani that a bucket and spade should be enough to keep your little one happy.

The beach is a wonderful playground - show him the tiny hermit crabs scuttling all over the place and, hopefully if the water is clear and calm, the tiny fish swimming in the shallows. Just make sure he has some reef shoes to protect his feet from bits of coral on the beach. Essential for you as well.

If your rental house has a garden, you may well see coconut crabs scuttling around.
