Transport from Lax Airport -Bus where to catch

Hi

We ( 2 adults- 2 bags) are arriving in Lax from El Pasco on Southwest airlines. We need to get to the Fess Parker in Santa Barbara.

I know there is a bus from Lax to Santa Barbara- but I am unsure where to catch from and what time to book for- we arrive in at 930am and I think we arrive in Terminal 1- my question is where do we catch the bus from how long will it take us to transverse once we have our bags.

If another mode of transport is available - any suggestions welcome.

Thank you for your assistance.

All terminals have a help desk in the luggage area. They will tell you what color sign to stand at for the bus stop. The bus will stop at designated areas. On the outer ring of the terminals

Santa Barbara Airbus is a very good choice. Check their schedule or call them if you need specific details.

Once you have your bags it's a 5 minute walk to the outside curb and stand by the Green Signs. (Their website has a photo of the Green signs).

Other option?? Rent a vehicle and drive.

Note: After they drop you in Santa Barbara, you will still need an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to the Fess Parker

Just to be clear, when you exit the terminal, you'll see a long, narrow 'traffic island' in the roadway. Cross over to it and look for the green overhead sign that says "Flyaway buses and Long Distance Vans'. Stand under that for the bis to SB.

It will take about 45 minutes (or slightly more) from the time of your plane's arrival -- which is when ot touches down, not when it pulls ip to the gate-- for you to deplane, walk to baggage claim and wait for and retrieve tour luggage. The traffic island is a 1 minute walk from baggage claim

We stay at the Fess Parker every summer, and have used the Santa Barbara Air Bus twice for members of our family to arrive after work without taking another car up. We live next to LAX so it's easy to catch from there. It runs right on time and is a very comfortable way to get to Santa Barbara. It makes a stop at the Hyatt Hotel which is a couple blocks from the Fess Parker. We only travel with carry on luggage, so no problem to roll the suitcase to FP. If you feel your luggage is too much, then call Uber.

Tip, if you carry on luggage, sit as close as possible to the front of the plane, you will be off the plane and at the curb in no time at all.
