Can we drink beer on the beach in front of boardwalk?

Or is it illegal. I know that checking out Seacliff State Beach campground it was clearly marked that no alcohol left the campground.

Nope,

""The City of Santa Cruz does not allow alcohol on the beach. Alcohol is allowed on the Boardwalk, but for safety reasons, bottles are not allowed."

In addition...State Parks in the area.....

>>>Is alcohol allowed?

Alcohol is permitted in Santa Cruz State Parks by persons of legal drinking age (21 years). Alcohol is prohibited on all State Beaches and not allowed at all in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.<<<<

You can have one up on the boardwalk though... they actually serve a REALLY good local IPA called big Dipa if you like IPA's.
