There are some fine hotels with a Hawthorne address around Aviation Blvd. & Rosecrans Ave. Across the street is Manhattan Beach or El Segundo. Look at the Marriott Springhill Suites, Towneplace or Hyatt House. These are good places to stay and safe. Close to the 405 freeway for ease of driving to sites . Avoid 7-9:30 am and 4-7:30 PM driving on the freeway. Down Rosecrans toward the beach are many restaurants, a Trader Joe's, Bristol Farms, Movie complex just a few blocks away. The Beach is a few miles.
Tell us which place you found. If inland on Hawthorne Blvd, and Imperial, we would tell you to avoid those places. What is your budget and what do you plan to see?
