Taxi from downtown to newer hotels

Does anyone know what a Taxi would cost from lets say The Springs up to Residence Inn type area?

There is a shuttle bus also, cost is $1.00, ci.glenwood-springs.co.us/transpo/1a-1.htm

Bus is definitely an option. It's also only a 15-20 minute walk. We stay at the Courtyard next to the Residence often. Both are fantastic. Frankly, though, it is a lot more convenient staying downtown.
