Taxi at $7.50 per person. Taxi's are lined up out front. Single could be more.
Single is more, last time I went from the airport to my room as a single it was 12.00.
We did this last year. If you're staying in Old Town, a car is probably more of a nuisance than a necessity. We had rented from Enterprise in FLL. Their KW location is on Roosevelt somewhere. They drove us to our B&B, so we only had to pay for a taxi back to pick up a rental car on our way out of town.
If you call the rental car company before pickup, they will also shuttle you from your B&B to their rental center.
We also rented from Enterprise and they drove us both ways last trip.
I know if you go with enterprise or Alamo they have a shuttle that will take you to and pick you up from your hotel. As the other poster said, if you are staying in Old Town, there is no reason for a car at all.
A Cab will run you with tip around 15 to 20 depending on where you are staying.
Susieq, if their center is on N. Roosevelt, they may run a shuttle. If they are at the airport, I don't think they would.
I think Alamo and National are the same company now so their shuttle will work.
Is Budget at the airport or on Roosevlet?
If you look at the Key West airport's web
page and click on Car Rentals, it will tell you. (Budget is listed as at the airport)
