Navarre vs Santa Rosa

We just vacationed in Santa Rosa (Seagrove) while we loved the water and I loved all the shops and sightseeing my husband hated the crowds. I’ve read Navarre isn’t as crowded but what’s the resturant and activity life like?

Navarre has gotten busier over the last few years because everyone loves the panhandle. You can get away from the crowds by staying farther away from the pier which means a private home or townhouse, but you lose the amenities that a complex may offer. If you go in the spring or fall, there's far less people. While there's more than enough high rises, there's not much in the way of restaurants or activity life without driving a bit. It all depends on what's more important to you.
