Prominence, Seaside or any other suggestions?

Hello,

I am trying to book a summer vacation to 30A. Do you guys recommend Prominence?

Should we stay in seaside?

Thank you,

The Hub is a nice little shopping/hanging area, fun to visit.

Prominence is fine for a neighborhood that's not close to the beach, but it's mostly north of 30A at a place where 30A is a long way from the beach. It just depends on what is important to you in a beach vacation. I would double-check the distance to the beach, how exactly you get to the beach, and where the beach access is from the place you rent.. Just be clear on where it is and what you want.

If you want to be closer to the beach, shopping, or dining, Rosemary Beach, Seagrove Beach, Seaside, or Grayton Beach would be better.

I agree with L1fe.

If the beach is not going to be your main destination on your vacation, it would be a fun place to stay, with new upscale vacation rentals.

If you want to be able to go back and forth to the beach at your leisure, it's not for you.

Gulf Lakes access is about a mile away. You can ride a bike there, but there is no car parking.

Deer Lake State Park might be closer, but there is a very long boardwalk to the beach once you park, (or get off the tram), and the bathroom facility there isn't great. It also costs $3 per car, or $2 a person.

Santa Clara access is probably 3 miles away. I think the tram from Prominence goes there too.

Something to think about when you choose your location . . .

We actually own two vacation rentals in Seagrove Beach. If you’re staying in Inlet Beach, you’re much closer to Panama City Beach. Pier Park is a giant shopping center there, and there are always activities going on. The pier is beautiful. Grayton Beach State Park has one of the prettiest beach areas around, all surrounded by dunes. I believe it’s a $5/car entry, but it’s clean and beautiful. Seaside is a must do. Check the 30A website or app for activities there. Seaside has a great Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning, and the one at Rosemary Beach is just as nice on Sunday am. Lots of samples and great fun for all ages. You will fall in love with the beautiful white sand beaches. Enjoy!!

Has anyone looked at Adagio on 30 A in blue mountain beach. It is on the beach, has 2 great pools, one on the beach and is away from the congestion of Seaside, Watercolor and Rosemary Beach. All of those towns can be enjoyed and you can return to the quiet after visiting. Seaside is also close enough to to ride your bike to. Adagio has 3 and 4 bedroom units. A favorite D 103.

I think prominence is amazing. Great homes and townhouses. All New. There is a gathering place for food and and boutique shops as well. The hub is a hopping place. We love it there.
