Siesta key in summer?

Looking into a 10 day vacation in August for a family of 4. Was also considering other areas Destin, FL keys, but my concern with Destin is the June grass that time of year, can be hit or miss. I saw someone claiming that Siesta key has the same white sands and beautiful clear water without June grass issues. So I’m curious what is siesta key like in August? I know ft Myers you have to watch for sting rays, Destin potential June grass. Just general information about beach conditions, hazards things to do on siesta key would be greatly appreciated. Really looking for beautiful clear water.

August is hurricane season. It will be incredibly hot and humid.

No matter which beach you visit, there is always the possibility of sea critters. Jellyfish, stingrays etc etc.

Siesta Key has had the #1 rated beach in the U.S. for many years. Sand is like sugar.

Unlike Destin, there aren't any full service hotels. We have condos/motels etc.

The Hyatt Siesta Key Beach (condos) is the high end.

Sarasota has a variety of things to see and do. It is a very upscale town.
