New things to do, new restaurants to try... anything at all!

I have been vacationing in the area for most of my life, I love it! But with a young daughter I’m always looking for some news activities or things to try. It seems we go to all the same places which I love but would love some new restaurants or activities.

Feel free to list anything in the area, Wells, York, Kennybunkport are all fine too. This year we are going the week following Memorial Day.

Angelos is adding an outdoor bar and patio, same owner. Jakes was bought my two women and is going to be another seafood restaurant https://www.spinnakersmaine.com. Have you been to The Lobster in the Rough on Route One in York? You’ll find all ages there, they have swings, bocce, etc. They also have a small outdoor stage and bands playing starting 5/11. You’ll find people of all ages here. https://www.facebook.com/LobsterInTheRough/

I haven’t been to lobster on the rough, but it sounds perfect for us! Going to check it out!

If the weather is nice, I would highly recommend taking your daughter crabbing off the town floats. There are always a lot of crabs around and the kids have a blast. If you don't have an old fishing line and bucket, go to the little store at the boat yard and they will sell you what you need for a few dollars. There is also a picnic and playground area right there. Have fun.

Congdons in Wells has introduced "Congdon's After Dark". They schedule different specialty food ( and craft beer) trucks in the parking lot of the restaurant. It has fabulous reviews and has been featured on Portland news stations and New Hampshire news stations. I have included the link with the calendar/schedule of which trucks will be there on any given night.
