Lunch Spot Near Plymouth

We're traveling from San Diego to Chatham to spend Thanksgiving week in a rental home. Thinking of visiting Plimoth Plantation on Tuesday (even if it rains as predicted). Any suggestions for a lunch spot between Chatham and Plymouth? We'll be looking for seafood, casual.

Also planning a walk in National Seashore for one of the days. Any other suggestions for area activities are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!

Any reason not to have lunch in Plymouth? A number of places right on the main street along the water (as well as right across the street from the bay) All will have seafood of some sort and all are casual.

When you are on the Outer Cape and driving along 6 watch for the inconspicuous sign for Fort Hill. Travel east and enjoy that area with the spectacular views and you'll also find some easy walking trails too.

Plymouth: If you decide that the time that you have in Plymouth after having lunch does not make visiting Plimouth Plantation very cost effective then may I suggest that you visit the Mayflower in the harbor. We thought that was fun.

That's a replica of the Mayflower of course since the Pilgrims needed to use every bit of the original to assist in sustaining them but they DO dress in period costumes and replicate the times. The unimpressive Plymouth Rock is nearby too.

I'm a long-time Plymouth resident, and one of my favorite casual restaurants is Blue Eyed Crab & Grille in the harbor area. It's on Water Street, across East Bay Grille, and a 5 minute walk from Plymouth Rock. Far from being a tourist spot, it's well regarded locally for its great seafood. You can't go wrong eating there for lunch or dinner. Here's the link, and if you go, enjoy!
