Plenty. What kind of food do you like? Price range?

Price point? Location? Cuisine likes? Many options, but need more info.

A nice steak house with with a chicken option. Prefer fine dining. Will be staying downtown.

Thanks

Tony's (downtown) and 801 Chophouse (Clayton, a few miles west of downtown) are on the very high end.

Sidney Street Cafe (Soulard, a couple miles south of downtown) is a classic but IMO very enjoyable and one of my favorites.

Carmine's (downtown) and Ruth's Chris (downtown) get very good reviews but it's been years since I've been to either so I can only throw them out there for consideration.

Not specifically a steakhouse, but for something special you could go to Kemoll's, an upscale Italian place that's been around since the 1920s. They have steak and chicken options. Look at the menu online, it'll be pricey. It's on the 42md floor of the Metropolitan Square skyscraper. I think they may have an early bird menu,

Great advice above, but I'll throw this out there: If you want a great steak at a very reasonable price, Tucker's in Soulard would be a good choice. It's not upscale, but not a dump either. It also gives you a chance to see this cool old neighborhood. You can have a drink and live music after dinner at McGurk's next door.

Have been to Tucker's a number of times, and the last couple had either middling service or food issues. Definitely a less spendy, casual place, but haven't been too impressed of late.

Nobody knows. They've overshot the estimate by months with no updates. Social media has been silent.
