local transport advice please

I'm coming to a conference at a Newark Airport hotel, which is where I'm staying but plan to visit Brooklyn ( my birthplace - haven't been there since tho) and also Statue of Liberty...

I'm thinking taxi to Liberty State Park for Statue ferry tour - right?

But how do I get to Empire Bvd in Brooklyn ( and back)??

Thanks for helping,

Taxi directly to Liberty State Park is the most efficient.

Not sure where exactly on Empire Blvd you are going to, but your options once you get to Manhattan is taxi, bus, and subway.

There used to be a water taxi/ferry type service that circulated between downtown Manhattan (Battery Park), Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. If that still exists, you can take the taxi to Liberty State Park and then use the ferry to get over to Manhattan. From there, you can easily take the subway into Brooklyn, just be sure you know which train you need to get on, and exactly which station you need to get off at. From Brooklyn, you can take the subway back to Penn Station NY and then NJ Transit to Penn Station Newark.

Have fun, LuvBreezes
