Long Beach Island Township's Regulation-canopies & tents

I'll be staying in Brighton Beach in a few weeks and was wondering if canopies/tents are allowed on the beach. I know they have been forbidden the last 4-5 years but since the beaches have been replenished I was hoping that the ban was lifted.

Does anyone know?

I believe there are still regulations against canopies and tents. They hog a large amount of beach and can be hazardous in the wind.,Just use an umbrella and sunscreen and be a considerate neighbor. They usually don't bother you with infant or toddler size sunscreens.
