Roadside Stands

If you are in the area don't miss out on the wonderful roadside stands selling fresh local fruits and veggies. A lot of these stands are ran by local farmers in the area and whatever is in season is usually for sale. Most of the stands also have money boxes where you just choose what you want, and pay for it. So if you don't see anyone tending the stand, don't think it's not open, your on the honor system here. Some stands even offer homemade pies, baked goods, jellies and jams.

We just had some delicious fresh sweet corn, hard to top that!

1. Re: Roadside Stands

A lot of stands are still open, offering fresh sweet corn (we are still lucky for that), tomatoes, winter squashes, apples. I have even seen the pumpkins stating to pop up for sale!
