New York to Hudson - Metro North?

What stop/town on Metro North out of Grand Central w/ travel time of about 30 minutes will give us a good view of the Hudson and a nice restaurant ? Thanks so much for help!!

You posted in the forum for the city of Hudson. I assume you are not going there. 30 minutes is not much time. In about 40 minutes you can get to Irvington which is on the river. Dobbs Ferry is a bit closer.

No. Amtrak to Hudson. Metro North will take you as far as Poughkeepsie, where you can either transfer to Amtrak or take a cab to Hudson (it's about 45min-1 hour).
