Beach crowds

Just watched a YouTube video the beach was crazy crowded. We have stayed in rodanthe and very minimal crowds a family set up about every 40 or 50 yards. What area would be similar in this area.

I would be curious to see what video you watched, can you post a link to it?

What time of year are you planning to be here? Most of the area is not that crowded, if you are near a public access or area that attacks people to use the access it can be crowded in those spots more so than if you have a house with a private access or are oceanfront with not public access nearby. Being near a condo or hotel will also be more occupied than other spots. Corolla has very few public access areas and so if you are near one it can be crowded, I just wonder if your video was near one of those areas since it is not what anyone would normally call crowded.

Wow. I wouldn't call anywhere we stayed on the OBX crowded. If you want to see crowded, look at VA Beach or Ocean City, MD, or Myrtle Beach, VA, or any of the Jersey shore beaches.

Nearly all of the small towns of Hatteras Island are near beaches with very few folks.

Drive N or S 1-3 miles from any town to find low population density beaches.
