Family Thanksgiving to Highlands

We are a family of four with two daughters, 2.5 y/o and 4y/o. Planning trip to Highlands for Thanksgiving. Any must see/must do with kids? We plan to relax, explore and try some easier trails. Particularly, any festive activities in town for Thanksgiving/the weekend after?

Normally, the Christmas tree lighting is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Hot chocolate, cookies, caroling. Christmas parade is the next Saturday after that. Would have to check on COVID and possible cancellations. Dry Falls is an easy walk. Kids also may like the Biological Station. Easy nature trail. Kids seem to like the Jackson Hole Gem Mine as hokey as that sounds, at least mine did. Also, don’t forget Kilwin’s Chocolates, all kids love candy.
