about 40 miles.
bus goes from lloret bus station and takes about 60-90 minutes. cost i think is around €21 return.
a better opyion is to get the train. you get the bus to blanes which coneects with train times and is much cheaper. you also get to see all the villages, and the sea, on the way.
they speak english at the kiosk in lloret bus station booking hall - you have to buy your ticket before you get on the bus.
english is widely spoken in lloret, in almost all the shops, bars, hotels and restaurants.
we have used the train and the bus for this journey
bus advantages are that you reserve your seat and if you have a case it goes underneath, takes about an hour
bus disadvantage is that it's dearer than the train
train advantages are that the view is defnitely better and it's cheaper than the train
disadvantage of the train is that you have to first get the bus to blanes but it's all co-ordinated, it can be crowded and cramped on some trains (saturday morning in summer when the locals are all going to the beach resorts for the day
either way, it's easy
Go to the bus station in lloret and buy a train ticket to Barcelona, the bus takes you to blanes station 5-10mins and then 65 mins to Barcelona by train. You arrive in Catayluna square, the cost was 6euro single, that was in may.
