Are small bonfires/campfire allowed on the beach? Especially at night? Or is a permit required?

Not 100% positive but I don't think fires are allowed on any of the Outer Banks beaches at all these days. Dang it!

CORRECTION: Yes, they are allowed on some beaches with a permit, including Salvo!
