Nationalities In Golden Sands

Hi All

Me and a couple of friends are thinking of going to Golden Sands this year. We are all 26 and have been to Sunny beach a couple of times before, but fancy going to GS this year as SB seems to have far too many Brits around now (and we like meeting girls of other nationalities).

My question is how many Brits go to Golden Sands?

and also

What sort of nationalities will we meet in Golden Sands?

Thanks all!

You will meet people from all over the world in GS.

Personally IMO there are many Swedish / German / Russian people in the resort. If you want to meet girls the 'strip' is the place to go. The Muppet Bar might be a good place to start. I'm getting a bit older now but always have a rockin night here.

Enjoy.

you will not find many brits in golden sands compaired with sunny beach i go most years and some years i do not speak with another brits for the whole two weeks there may be more this year due to things going on in other holiday locations

their are some good clubs down on the beach front P.R ect and you have clubs in party street the den glade viking is now up that way but who needs clubs their are some very good bars my son always went out on his own and met alot of people he ended up going out with the bulgarian bar staff to the bars that they use

i have met people for every where in golden sands lots of germans sweeds all the near by countrys

i met a famliy from iran some americans very few

it seems to me that if you are from the uk you are pushed towards sunny beach you dont seem to get golden sands unless you say golden sands so less brits in golden sands

lots of bulgarians also use golden sands pole russians

and then you could always go in to varna some very nice beach bars in varna

what hotel are you thinking of going to

That's some great info Shannon, cheers

Well we've been Sunny Beach twice before and just wanted to try somewhere else. Golden sands seems like a good choice with less brits and more of a mixture of other nations.

We haaven't looked at hotels yet, where would you say the best place for some 26 year old single men who still like to party, to go in Golden Sands?

Hi,

You won't find many Brits in Golden Sands.

There are lots of Scandinavians, Russians, Germans & Ukrainians.

The strip, where you find Muppet bar is lively and, also, the bars near the beach in front of the International hotel are lively.

Have a good walk about the resort and you will find many bars, some better than others, but plenty to chose from.

If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask!

my sons stayed up around party street near the clubs i stay down on the front but golden sands is much smaller than sunny beach nowhear is far to walk to my son went for the cheapest hotel that he could find as he was going to be out all the time so he stayed at the tsarevec one of my girls stayed at the bonita she was also going to be out alot but also wanted to be near the front

all in hotels that are good are arabella near the center bolero 5 min walk to center vistamar metropol adults only hotel B&B hotels lillia perla

in party street perunika muppets bar is undre the hotel shipka near roxi club kamchia near bonkers club just behind these with walkways down to party street are viva royal tsarevec atlas

the noddy tran runs all over the resort but none of the hotels are far form party street

from party street there are walk ways down to the front whear their are more clubs balkan have a large selection of hotels in golden sands take a look at there web site balkan holidays to get a view to things

the only hotels i would think that would be a problem for you would be riviera beach hotel nympha

they are in the riviera beach complex with i think two other hotels they are good hotels and on the sea front but they have a fence around them you can only enter and leave by the front gate which is up on the main road the hotels are not far from the center but to get in and out is along walk maybe about a 2 mile walk each way if you look on a map they look as if close to the center but what you cant see is you have to walk all the way around and if you are going out a lot its not good

i will say golden sands is not like sunny beach i have never come across waterd down beer in golden sands

also i almost forgot they have a foam party down near the front not far from the p.r club

also just across the road is a casino

Hi all, I'm going from Istanbul to Golden Sands May 23-25. I am looking for a chauffeur to round-trip me there and back. I am having difficulty finding what I need on the internet.

Anyone has any suggestions for a Canadian? Of course, I am ready to pay for this:)

@ybouchard. I am sure you could find a chauffeur to drive you -- however .. I hope you have very deep pockets. shannonshaq has already given you the best option. You could also get a bus which will be much cheaper unless you have money to burn.

As nice as GS is it's not worth paying the sort of expense you are suggesting for two days in Golden Sands IMO. Why not visit Bulgaria closer to Turkey ? It's not that far and sounds a better option than what you are suggesting. Just cross the border and enjoy Bulgaria in that part of the country ?

Enjoy Turkey and BG when you visit.

Paul

Thanks for the answer. I understand it will not be easy but I have limited choice. I will be spending 2 nights in Golden Sands (3 days) and going by plane kills the whole thing so I must travel by car. Besides, it will be a great opportunity to see the whole scenery from upclose.

Hopefully I will find someone, my hotels are already booked;)
