Pocono Ski Resorts

I am considering treating my husband, parents (75), and daughters for a pre holiday get together in the Poconos. Hubby, girls and I will ski if snow.

Staying 2 nights and departing on the 24th in the am.

Would like someplace reasonably priced but charming. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I know that this isn't exactly a ski resort, but you might want to check out the Holiday Inn Express in Mount Pocono. It is a very nice and newer hotel that is reasonably priced and is a pretty good location. It is 8 miles from Camelback and 12 miles from Big Boulder/Jack Frost/Split Rock ski resorts. There are many restaurants nearby and I think that you would enjoy staying at the Holiday Inn Express. I am sure that it is much nicer and more modern than some of the other lodging options in the area. The hotel has an indoor pool and whirlpool, as well as a nice continental breakfast served each morning.

I read bad things on antoher board about HI Express. Has it changed management?

How about renting a home for 2 nights? There are plenty of rentals in the area. I have a rental home in the Northeast Poconos.
