If I take the water taxi from Charleston to Patriot's Point how will I spend my time in Patriot's Point?
Patriot's Point is primarily an aircraft carrier. The Medal of Honor museum is there, as well as, a submarine open for touring and a small re-creation of an
American base in Vietnam. A gift shop is also on-site.
Patriot's point has all the above, along w/an admission fee, just so you know...
It's not an area of town, per se, it's an attraction and a point of reference.
- you'll have plenty of dining and shopping choices there. I'm not sure where the bus stop is at Patriot's point but you might keep the phone number on this link handy. ridecarta.com/shared/…20rt40.pdf
This would be the highest concentration of shopping choices in the area (other than King or Market Streets in Charleston). Beware it is an outdoor "lifestyle" mall so if the weather is bad, bring an umbrella.
